Dr. Rachel B Wagman ’89 was the on-campus special guest of Club Med, an Upper School group of students who are interested in the medical field. After a tour of campus with one of her favorite teachers, Becky Pizzino 1760, Wagman shared her college and career path with the students. Her story began way back when she started at GA in Kindergarten, realizing even then that she wanted to be a doctor.
At Germantown Academy, students are challenged, supported, and engaged in a multitude of ways that lead to a transformational learning experience. They graduate as individuals who are capable of achieving far more than they had ever imagined.

During the last month of high school, most seniors’ thoughts turn to graduation, summer vacation, and college life. At Germantown Academy, seniors in their final month of school explore areas of interests in a real-world environment with the goal of forging connections and preparing them for what awaits in the next phase of their lives.
Practices have wrapped up and competitions are over for the spring sports season at Germantown Academy. However, that does not mean that the effort of the student athletes will now be forgotten. In fact, the Inter-Ac League announced their All-League Teams this week, honoring those who excelled during the season.
In the classic match-up of Team Red vs Team Blue, students participated in a number of fun games all over Carey Stadium and the surrounding athletic fields. Both teams had fantastic showings, but in the end, the Blue Team persevered for the win.

Family STEAM Night was a student-led event where community members learned about and participated in a variety of activities that connect Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The curriculum and technologies that are explored within the TinkerLab of the Lower School at GA were highlighted primarily, but it was also an opportunity to collaborate and show the vertical integration of programming across the Middle and Upper grades.
